I discover the awarded brand’s Elxis collection

What started as a humble venture inspired by ancient Greek beauty and skincare traditions has evolved into a globally recognized brand that resonates with modern consumers seeking natural, ethical, and sustainable beauty solutions.

These all-natural, non-toxic, cruelty-free, and sustainable products are also indulgent, innovative, empowering and deeply nourishing. Kear’s evolution is marked by a comprehensive range of skincare products for face and body, and more recently they have branched out to the Elxis accessories, which is what I am reporting about here.

A NOVEL HEALING VISION

Having tried, delighted in and written about the Kear products in the past, I was intrigued by the Elxis range because it encompasses an energy healing aspect. I have always been a huge fan and user of crystals, always fascinated by the qualities and energies of each stone, so when I saw that Kear have made necklaces out of semi precious stones that they then charge with reiki energy, I had to find out more. I spoke with Ypatia Mitsatsou, the prime visionary behind Kear, who is a passionate advocate of natural skincare and has a deeply personal connection to the brand’s mission. Her own experience with skin sensitivity motivated her towards gentle and natural skincare solutions, so she set out to develop a skincare brand that prioritized purity, safety, and effectiveness.

MY ELXIS EXPERIENCE

As usual, I trusted my instincts in selecting my Elxis necklace online but was still quite astounded to discover that the choice I made couldn’t have been more perfect. After selecting it, I was informed by Ypatia that the two stones the necklace is made of, sodalite and blue goldstone, are especially ideal for writers and poets (guilty as charged) who also happen to be empaths in need of protection! Here’s the breakdown:

As I mentioned, I have enjoyed intuitively or intentionally selecting and using crystals for as long as I can remember, although I know there’s so much more to keep discovering about their many qualities and uses (one book that I love and dip into often, that I would highly recommend if you hold the same passion, is ‘The Women’s Book of Healing’ by Diane Stein, which offers comprehensive wisdom and understanding on the use of gemstones through the ages and around the world).

INSTANT KARMA

However, I had never felt so connected to stones as I did with those in the Elxis necklace. As soon as I put it on, letting it fall onto my bare skin, because ideally crystals should be in direct contact with your body, I felt like something had come home to me, or I to it.

The very moment I held the necklace in my hands, I felt its wonderful energy. When I put it around my neck, feeling the contact of the stones with my skin, I felt like it was coming home to me, or as if I had reconnected to a part of me that had been missing. Not generally a “jewellery person”, but I was truly moved by the experience that this item created in me. Ever since I received it, I have worn it every day, all day, sometimes even placing it by my bed at night. On one particular night when I felt particularly tired and unwell, I held it in my hands throughout the whole night, as if drinking in its healing energy and feeling its protection. As a reiki master, I also occasionally cleanse and ‘recharge’ it with my intent.

I can only wish that more wellness-related brands will take Kear’s example as a visionary innovator that goes beyond utilitarian and beauty products and offers its customers the opportunity to nourish themselves both through the skin, via cosmetics, as well as through the soul, via other accessories like these necklaces, generating a new consciousness in daily living that this planet so dearly needs.
